My first experience with color was while sitting with my Dad one rainy afternoon coloring in a 3 Stooges coloring book. I was working on one page while he was working on another. I looked over at his picture and was amazed at the kaleidoscope of colors staring back at me. It was a picture of Moe with multicolored plaid hair. I said, "Dad,
you can't do that!" He looked at me and told me you can color any way you want to. Having that experience with my Dad changed the way I looked at color forever. The possibilities became endless. I have spent the last 40 years painting and creating with a variety of materials.
