Rise Above: Project Unity is a non-profit Suicide and Bully prevention and awareness group based out of Oklahoma. It's members have spoken out and participated in events across the state at various gatherings including church events, Prevention walks and even the state senate. They work closely with their local United Way to bring a support network to victims and raise awareness of the serious and real harm of bullying.

White is the awareness color for teen suicides, or specifically those of gay teens, where as Yellow is the color for suicide prevention. Orange represents self harm and injury awareness. Teal, not purple, is the color for anit-bullying and Blue, though used in the UK, earns it's spot as the color for bullying awareness. Indigo, the final color, represents anyone who has been the target of bullying, harassment or stalking. The phoenix itself represents the promise of what's to come. It shows that we will all rise from the ashes despite our troubles and we will be able to transform ourselves into something extraordinary in the end.

Whether you are a survivor, a current victim or anyone in between, buying this shirt will help to support an amazing cause and raise awareness about something that too often gets shoved to the back burner and overlooked as something that will "make our children stronger", but in reality does the exact opposite.
