Ghost ship series: Lost expedition Poster

This picture is a tribute to the Franklin's lost expedition that departed England in 1845. It was a doomed British voyage of Arctic exploration of 128 men led by Captain Sir John Franklin. Royal Navy officer and experienced explorer had served on three previous Arctic expeditions. His fourth and last, was meant to traverse the last un-navigated section of the Northwest Passage. Over the next 150 years, other expeditions, explorers, and scientists would piece together what happened next.

Perfection...
I loved a song by John Renbourn called "Lord Franklin", and I love it even more now! I can see the ship going through the passage, fading in the mist, towards the unknown...it's so real...
