Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper was a true pioneer with computers. Having worked on the first U.S. Computer, discovering the first "computer bug" and being the "Mother of Cobol", her Mark is left in history and still seen today. This tie celebrates this wonderful woman. It features some interesting pictures, including a "tired grace" that is only seen when you take the tie off at the end of the day! (And a color photo to help keep you motivated also!) It also includes a snippet of the classic "Hello World" program, as written in Cobol, a photo of the true first Computer bug, and pictures of the Mark I and Univac machines that she helped create.
I came on your website hoping to find the "perfect" gift for my MIS brother who's very hard to buy for. This is it. I like the design quality, unique-but-computer-related subject, and the mostly B&W color scheme with just a touch of color on top. Thanks.
