by hallocardsLovely image of a beautiful child being protected by faires on Halloween. Restored image from a 1911 postcard by famed publisher John Winsch. The artist is most likely Shmucker who is considered by many, to be one of the finest postcard artists of the time.

This 1911 print is amazing. Almost 100 years old!
It is interesting to have the verse include a scary "Hide your head under your pillow" message while the artwork is basically serene.
