High "c" modification stamps
by chuckdarlinga 3 part lamination of orange craft sticks, and 2 paper clips, let this old guitar reach high "c" in an hour. -chuck darling
I modified this guitar using orange craft sticks, and 2 paper clips. I made a 3 part lamination, which I scraped down to the height of the fretboard. After dying it black with permanent marker, I fretted the extension with 2 paper clips, the ends are inserted into holes hand drilled with a paper clip, the "frets" are glued down with super glue. I painted it with clear nail polish to seal the color. This 3 dollar used guitar can now reach high "c" accurately. Mod time, 1 hour. cost: less than 5 dollars for the parts, if you have to buy them, I had them on hand. VGA 640x480 photo. Audiovox 8910- Chuck Darling www.chuckdarling.com
