This tradition has �t� transport�e in Am�rique of North to the 19th si�cle by the Irishmen, �cossais them and other immigrants. The principal symbol of Halloween is the pumpkin resulting from the Irish l�gende of Jack-o'-lantern: one it d�coupe to draw there, in hollow, a face, then one places a candle in his center.
