I Grow a White Rose, 2005 - Customized Greeting Card

Inspired in Jose Marti's poem: " I grow a white rose / in June as in January / for the sincere friend / who shakes my hand frankly. / And for the cruel person / who would want to break my heart / I grow, neither thistles nor thorns, / I grow a white rose. The symbolic use of roses to deliver messages was practiced by early civilizations such as the Romans. The white rose is the symbol of spirituality, which is something I relate with the defining quality of humanity, and the poem of the Cuban writer describes a level of spirituality that I hope to achieve.
