Infinity Sculpture Acrylic Cut Outs
by Rockangel1Magnets, pins, keychains
The Infinity Symbol or Lemniscate looks like the number 8 lying on its side. The lemniscate represents the cycles of infinity and creation, as one universe grows into and becomes another. It is past, present and future, all in one, and represents being in the eternal Now.
In spiritual terms, the lemniscate represents eternity, the numinous and the higher spiritual powers. The Magus, the first card in the Major Arcana of the tarot, is often depicted with the lemniscate above his head or incorporated into a wide-brimmed hat, signifying the divine forces he is attempting to control. The lemniscate often appears in Russian tarot designs dating from the early twentieth century, also in association with the Magician or Strength cards.
