This image of the Orion Nebula comes from the Spitzer telescope and the Herschel mission. The colours indicate areas of varying temperature, as well as different wavelengths of light. This image dates from February 2012. The black areas at the corners (not visible on some products) are part of the original image.

Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artifacts, and won't be printed.
