Oktoberfest is one of the most celebrated festivals in the city. Octoberfest becomes the world's largest annual fair, with some six million people attending every year. A special slightly darker and stronger Oktoberfest beer is brewed for the event and of course vast quantities of foods like bratwurst, hendl, sauerkraut, ox tails, etc. are also consumed along with the beer.
