I am a teacher going to teach in Honduras. The products help me support my daughter and me for the mission field. Even though I am going to teach it does not offset the cost of moving and shipping supplies to the town I am going to. The school is in need of books and sporting equipment, which is difficult to buy in Honduras.

On average it take 19 lempiras to make 1 US dollar. Honduras is beautiful and full of wonderful people, but is also a third world country due to the overwhelming amount of governmental debt leftover from the 80's. In fact it is one of four countries outside of Africa that has the highest national debt. Basically, this means that the country is in poverty. Many young men leave there families and come to the United States in order to help support them. The menial jobs that we often look down on are what support there families for months. On average 30 US dollars will support a family of 3 for a month. A third of the hispanic population in the US are from Honduras, which shows the extreme poverty in the country because they are fleeing in order to get help.

I know the friends I have from Honduras love their country and desire to go back, but have to be here to support there families. I am hoping through the products that I will be able to raise the amount I need to support our mission..... To bring a hope and a future through education, love, and prayer. The basis of this comes from Jeremiah 29:11-14.
