Josh's Gift to share is a benefit supporting Josh Groll. Josh was diagnosed with water on the brain at six months old. At seven months old, he had a shunt put in to drain the spinal fluid from his brain to his abdomen. His shunt wasn't working the way it was supposed to and Josh spent 11 days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Loyola. In those 11 days, Josh had 4 surgeries, the last of which was the placement of a new shunt. This shunt now drains his spinal fluid to his heart. Josh is now almost 2 years old and has had to recently been admitted to the hospital for a continuation of this medical issue.
