About Kathy Zabliski

Real name: Kathy Zabliski
45, Female
Operates out of: Small Town, USA
By day: Fibromyalgia Sufferer
Describes themself as: Hi there! I am a former RN who is now disabled due to Fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia affects approximately 10 million Americans. Fibromyalgia causes pain, fatigue, memory & concentration problems (Fibrofog), IBS, Neurological problems, headaches, sleep problems, depression, and anxiety.

What makes having Fibromyalgia so difficult is getting people to take it seriously. Fibromyalgia IS a REAL illness. It is recognized by The American Academy of Rheumatology. It is also recognized by the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act)

Unfortunately, many doctors don't take it seriously and it is difficult to obtain a proper diagnosis and treat. We need to do something TODAY! We need to create awareness about Fibromyalgia and fight for a cure. I'm NOT giving up until we have better medical treatment for Fibromyalgia.

Personal Interests: When I'm not in bed from Fibro, I enjoy creating things on my computer. I'm hoping that I will be able to take some graphics classes at a local college so that I can learn to create more things for my gallery! I used to love to travel, and do many different activities, but I've had to "re-invent" myself since the Fibro. My gallery has become my new hobby. All proceeds go to help promote Fibromyalgia Awareness & Research.
Artistic Interests: I love creating things for my gallery! And (this is not artistic), I love CATS!
