Kids should be kids, not soldiers sweatshirt by inamar
Text reads "Kids should be kids, not soldiers". This children's rights awareness design refers to military recruitment of children (especially African children). Child soldiers fight in the ranks of rebel groups but also in the ranks of the government army, across Africa. Thousands of children (7 to 18 years old) are currently being used as soldiers in armed conflicts in conflict-torn regions of Africa. Among affected countries, we can mention Algeria, Angola, Burundi, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Uganda... Young children are FORCED TO KILL. Among the obvious dangers of children participating in war (killed children, disabled children, children separated from their parents), child combattants are PSYCHOLOGICALLY TRAUMATIZED for life.
*Dashed line denotes design area and will not appear on the actual shirt.
