Kirlian Photography is a process of recording the corona discharge between a subject (in this case a human finger) and a high voltage, low current electrode. In 1961, Semyon Davidovitch and Valentina Kirlian published a paper in the Russian Journal of Scientific and Applied Photography where they described the process now called Kirlian Photography. Researchers such as Dr. Beverly Rubik (http://www.intent.com/nfgc/beverly_rubik.html) are continuing this research with technology that integrates Oriental medicine as well.

fingertip auras
I know this sounds weird, but if I put someone's fingers pushed against my eyelids, I can see their aura. I don't see finger prints, but I do see a bright light outline around the fingertip as well as a couple of pin holes with light shinning through
