Dance Dance Revolution is an arcade game where there's a pad on the ground, with 4 arrows that you step on as they appear on a screen in front of you (That's simplified a bit, but whatever.) Chances are that, if you dance in an arcade, you will get a crowd of people watching you dance. They can only see the back of your shirt, usually, hence this design.
