Karl Marx was lazy. In fact, he was an infamous slacker. He couldn't hold a job, couldn't finish his own work--Engels did it--and was know to sit on his livingroom couch for days smoking his pipe.
Most people think that Marx's most prolific written work was Das Kapital, but biographers have found that his mooch letters to friends and family asking for cash were.
Heck, Marx himself ripped Hegel's dialectic off and sold his tweak as groupnbreaking truth. If anyone criticized his theories, he'd just say they didn't understand because they percieved reality through a false, bourgeoisie reality. Conveinient.
Of course, the fact that Marx was a monumental loafer doesn't mean his theories were wrong. It just happens that they are.
It also just happens, ironically enough, that if one subcribes to marxian philosophy these days they are simply lazy.
