It happens so suddenly. The dark night comes alive as the full moon rises above Hamoa Beach, out side of Hana, Maui in 1983. Soon it will be play time in the warm ocean in front of the empty tropical beach that is consistently rated as one of the ten best in the world. I often wondered what the rest of the world was doing as I lay there in the sand. You want to be me.
This is a moonlight time lapse photo of Hana, Maui coastline from my critically acclaimed "Paradise by Moonlight" Collection. This photo was done at night using only moonlight. The photo was taken with a 6x7cm camera and the medium format transparency scanned at 10000ppi. The detail really comes out when blown up large on high quality paper.
