Artist Profile for Meghan Oona Clifford

After arriving on the West Coast from the heartland 13 years ago, I graduated from Evergreen State College in Washington with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Art, then received my Masters in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. I earn my keep as the creative director/ceo of moreTrees clothing company.

My current series explores new mythical archetypes, modes of revelry, and paths to bliss, through what I call Illuminated Portraiture. I work mostly with graphite and paint on paper, but also produce sound, video, animation, street interventions and installation projects.
