Cuerpo by Melody Nieves

"Cuerpo," meaning body in spanish, is a new line of digitally painted t-shirts and art prints created by Melody Nieves.

Inspiration:

Cuerpo is a celebration of the human form...An exploration of the idea of inhabiting the very curves that make up the body. Inspired by conceptual artwork created when I was a teenager, I've always wanted to create paintings where the human body essentially became a world in itself. Where sailboats could sail in the sea of an eyeball, or painters could paint great murals upon the beautiful backs of muscularity.

Artist's Tools:

The major tool used to create these digital paintings was Adobe Photoshop CS3. Traditional painting techniques were exercised for all the current designs, with little to none photoshop manipulation.
