I don't agree with most of your stuff, but I do find the whole "Merry Christmas" debate a bit stupid, and I don't think it's just liberals who should be confronted about it. My VERY conservative boss told me not to say Merry Christmas to customers because it might offend them >_>;
Speaking as someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas (but rather one of the multitude of other winter holidays), I take no offense when someone says "Merry Christmas!" I say it right back. Merry Christmas to you, too! Wishing someone well shouldn't be so complicated.
