Zazzle is looking for a world-class product manager to build and market industry-leading, game changing consumer-level retail ecommerce experiences. At Zazzle, you will be responsible for catalyzing, defining, and driving new experiences and features that will drive Zazzle’s retail experience and business to dizzying heights.

Zazzle Product Managers are the cornerstone of all customer interaction. You will be a mini-CEO, responsible for the strategy and execution of features in your area. You will be a portfolio manager to help us invest the right resources across a wide variety of opportunities. You will be an evangelist spreading the word about your features far and wide to our community, our partners, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue and profitability of existing products and develop new products and features for Zazzle’s ecommerce experience
  • Own the customer interactions and maintain deep understanding of competitive offerings
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor emerging market trends to identify areas for differentiation and improvement
  • Identifying customer requirements based on customer research and data insights. Translate these requirements into product features
  • Define the vision for Zazzle’s retail experience across a wide variety of physical and digital products and features
  • Generate requirements (MRDs/PRDs), work in partnership with design and technical leaders to ensure requirements are accurately translated to technical and design specs
  • Prioritize tasks and in partnership with project/program management, driving product releases/launches to completion
  • Work closely with engineering and QA to deliver quality products on schedule; work with marketing to develop product messaging and positioning, collaborate on product launch materials, and provide post-launch support
  • Define, analyze, track and improve key product metrics

Requirements

  • 5+ years online B2C product management
  • Direct experience in online ecommerce and community products desired
  • Strong technical comprehension of internet product technologies
  • Demonstrated leadership across cross-functional teams including marketing, business development, customer support and engineering teams
  • Comfortable prioritizing among competing opportunities, balancing customer needs with business priorities, and articulating the rationale behind decisions
  • Strong product management, negotiation and leadership skills to lead cross functional teams to successfully enhance and optimize the user experience
  • Ability to clearly and concise communicate requirements in the form of detailed mock-ups, written specifications, and presentations
  • Track record of developing, launching, selling and marketing products
  • Strong quantitative skills and are able to evaluate and communicate financial impacts of potential product features
  • Team player, able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team while accepting responsibility to drive internal decision making process
  • Ability to build excellent rapport with customers, partners, and technologists a must
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree a plus
  • Technical background preferred
