Zazzle Co-Marketing and Public Relations Policies
Zazzle encourages its Seller community to spread the word about their stores and new merchandise available regularly. Your success means our success! Here are the ways to be sure your Press Release is effective and our policies about how we can work together with the press.

The following points must be followed for any Press Release that mentions Zazzle or any Zazzle product.
- You are responsible for costs involved and logistics for issuing over a newswire

The final press release draft and suggested issue date must be received by Zazzle one week prior to your desired issue date for approval from Zazzle (zazzle@zazzle.com).
- If the release is a last minute request to something timely in the media, please send it with HOT and announce date in the subject line so it will receive urgent attention
- See below for an approved press release when announcing a new line available at Zazzle.
The more consumers that know about you and your Zazzle relationship, the better. Use these tips to increase the coverage your Press Release receives:
- Your press releases should be issued on newsworthy subjects including new product lines, new stores or major milestones
- Press releases should explain who is involved, what is new and what is special
- The press release should be factual; avoiding unnecessary adjectives, flowery language or redundant expressions
- You should reference your Zazzle store name once as a hyperlink, i.e. Zazzle, in all press releases so it will automatically direct readers to you easily
- When mentioning Zazzle in a general press release, press pitch or marketing collateral about your company, or band, or on your website or blog, please use the following approved Zazzle language. We’ve provided a few example sentences for you to choose from that fit your needs:
- In order to maximize your store in such materials, we recommend including your Zazzle store name once as a hyperlink in any electronic collateral so it will automatically direct readers back to you, similar to how we have Zazzle above
- Artwork makes your marketing collateral pop. If you would like to provide images of products available in your Zazzle store, feel free to use with a site credit of Zazzle.com
- All use of 3D model shots in marketing collateral, press materials and websites should be credited to Zazzle.com
Zazzle is in regular communication with the media and provides them with samples and artwork when requested for appropriate opportunities. At the same time, some media may contact you directly for stories. We encourage your participation when you are contacted, but we are not at liberty to provide samples for you. We have designed the following Policy for sample and image requests for press opportunities:
- All sample requests should be directed to zazzle@zazzle.com
- Fulfillment of all sample requests is at the discretion of Zazzle
- Approved sample requests will be sent to the reporter directly by Zazzle
- All artwork requests of product shots from your Zazzle store should be credited to Zazzle.com
- If you are interested in using Zazzle to create a variety of products in order to help raise awareness of your cause, whether it be a special promotion or an event to help a local family in need or a national charity, please check out the Zazzle Giving Program ( http://www.zazzle.com/mk/zazzlegiving/home ) where qualified charities earn 20% or more of every product sale
- If you are interested in Zazzle providing a discount on merchandise for a special event, please note that Zazzle offers bulk discounts on large orders.
- Please note that Zazzle receives numerous requests to donate merchandise to causes throughout the year and that we are simply unable to say yes to all. We will however review on a case by case basis. Please send your formal request with all specifics including purpose and timing to zazzle@zazzle.com

These spotlights can be touting Sellers who are selling incredibly well, or those who are offering relevant content to the particular time, or those who announced a new line or product that is generating buzz, and more.

Because getting your message out about new merchandise available at your Zazzle store is very important to help raise further awareness and generate sales, we put the following press release template together to make it even easier for you to share the news.
