The Zazzle Giving Program offers charities a new source of ongoing incremental and unrestricted capital to build programs and campaigns that benefit their causes. The fundraising potential for a specific organization is largely determined by a combination of strategic planning, execution and promotion. The more you sell, the more you earn, so set your price points wisely. Get some hints on how to promote your store and the Zazzle Giving Program!
Zazzle writes a check to the non-profit to reflect the amount of donations and royalties the non-profit has generated through the sales in its store. The timing of when the non-profit receives the check depends on the payment option that the non-profit has selected (monthly, quarterly, or when the amount passes a given minimum threshold).
A minimum donation of 10% of the sales value is made to the non-profit for purchases made through their store. For stamps, the sales value is calculated as the retail sales value less the face value of the postage. An additional 15% donation is made to the non-profit if the sale was referred through the non-profit's website.
It's free! Zazzle hopes to make joining the program as easy as possible for your organization. There are no listing fees, no minimum sales fees, no management fees, no upkeep fees, etc. Zilch, notta, none! Open your store for free, design some products for free with no hidden strings attached and begin receiving donations based on the sales of your products!
As a side note, Zazzle offers anyone online the ability to create products on Zazzle and build a custom store for free.
Non-profit fundraising activities are highly regulated and subject to numerous state and federal laws. Zazzle recommends that you consult with your legal advisor regarding your activities.
At this point in time, only US based charities may become members of the program, however, we are exploring other countries for future expansion. We welcome people from around the globe to support the organizations that are members of the Zazzle Community Giving program.
If your organization is part of the program and you would like to receive the additional 15% referral fee, join our associates program! Click here to learn more about the Zazzle Associates Program.
You bet! Purchases by your organization from your store receive a 20% discount on the sales value. The sales value for stamps is calculated by taking the retail value less the face value of the postage. Please note, since you are receiving the 20% discount for purchasing your own products, you will not receive any royalty on the sale.
If you are a member of the Zazzle Giving Program, you can simply login to MyZazzle and click on Charity Account within the left side of the page. You will be able to view the total donation amount received as well as what is pending.
