Native American #2 T-shirt by montdragon
In 1492 Columbus landed or was lost in this hemisphere, planted a flag and claimed what he was standing on for Spain; named the native population “Indians.” Whoa, think about that, anyway the name stuck, anyone ask the Indians of India? America has come a long way, Native Americans on reservations, gambling casinos, tobacco and alcoholism. Americans by far are a terrific polyglot nation (AKA multi-cultural) and very politically correct at least the good Americans are, so this November “take and Indian to lunch” or breakfast, dinner or on a picnic, America step up to the plate. Hey why wait, never too late or too early to powwow and how, right now. …take an Indian or a Native American or “First People” to lunch; it’s the American thing to do! Oh by the way how about Canadian-Americans, Latin-Americans and South-Americans…ain’t we all Americans in this hemisphere? Think about it, we are all Americans in this part of the world. Someday the “United Countries of America”…nah never going to happen…foods different and well it would screw up the tax base and then what. So for now, take an Indian to lunch, your choice.
