During the debates, Mitt Romney insisted President Barack Obama was lying about calling the attacks on Benghazi Acts of Terror in his Rose Garden speech, the day after the attack. He asked the Prez to repeat it, sniveling and giddy that he had him on the ropes. He told the American people the lie the right wing spin machine had spun for weeks, that our President didn't use that term until two weeks after the attack. And then it happened. The moderator of the debate, stopped Willard in his tracks and fact-checked Mr. Romney in real time, on live TV, in front of millions of viewers and Mitt had a meltdown. In the aftermath of the debate, the right wing spin machine has doubled down, blaming the moderator for Mr. Romney's failure and their own part in it. But, the fact is, President Obama absolutely did say exactly what he claimed he'd said, on the day he claimed he'd said it. This commemorates the lovely he words he spoke, in that passage and reminds our Republican friends and neighbors of the truth.
