The high price of gasoline is due to supply and demand, despite an orchestrated and disingenuous attempt by liberals to attribute (future) speculators as the cause. Rather, blame can rightfully be attributed to President Barack Obama, Lisa Jackson (E.P.A. Administrator), Ken Salazar (Dept. of Interior) and Steven Chu (Dept. of Energy). Actions negatively affecting the supply of energy include the pulling of permits and leases, blocking wilderness development through land confiscation, expanding the reach of green house gas regulations, pushing the development of electric cars and imposing a moratorium on off shore drilling (by which Obama has been found to be in contempt of court). Intentional and preventable, increasing the cost of energy has been a stated goal of the president and his minions. Furthermore, a failed economic policy has devalued the U.S. dollar and exacerbated energy imports.
