"Curiouser and curiouser"... Bunnies with boas and piglets in spats, tuxedoed roosters and sequined-gowned cats...♥ ♥ ♥

Welcome to my world of glamorous kitties, bodacious bunnies and funky chickens, to name a few... I've drawn "dressed" animals practically ever since I could hold a pencil (which somewhat concerned my parents, as I rarely drew people) and I'm still doing just that; outfitting them in ruffles and flounces, polka-dots and bow-ties (and naming them after my grandparents...)

My original "critter" paintings are done primarily in watercolor, India ink and colored pencil. Once upon a time I was a transparent-watercolor "purist", and wouldn't have allowed so much as an opaque pigment on my palette, let alone any other media. Now, however, I like to mix things up a bit, adding lovely Lumiere metallics, as well as designer's gouache, Sparkling H2Os, and even the occasional Swarovski crystal....making it so much more interesting, and FUN!
