Offering to Yemanjá Postage

The printed stamp is overall lighter than it appears here. Yemanja is a mythical goddess of the sea, savior from drought but also mother of hurricanes, typhoons, and tsunamis. The original artwork from which the stamp derives is part of the Boutique of Arts Tribute Gallery that exhibits multi-genre artworks accompanied by poems or essays dedicated to current events.
