After an accident, I spent a couple of years in a wheelchair and came to really understand discrimination as never before! People would treat you as if you were stupid because you were disabled or expect to get by with giving bad service because they thought you couldn't do anything about it! Often these same people would hold their heads up going to church on Sunday! Hang in there and go to physical therapy as often as you can. Doctors said I would never walk again, but after two years of pt I do.
