Hubble photograph of the Omega Nebula
This is a photograph taken by the Hubble Space Telescope of a part of the Omega Nebula. Also known as the Swan Nebula and Messier 17 (M17), this is situated about 5500 light years from Earth. The photo shows gaseous clouds in orange, brown and blue/turquoise colours.
