I am a self-taught artist and have been painting for over 20 years. My studio is located in central Louisiana. Most of my work is in acrylics.
My painting "style" has yet to be determined . The best description would be "abstract expressionism" because of my strong use of color and hard-edged graphic style.
I am very influenced by the works of John Nieto , JD Challenger, and so many others that portray Native Americans in glorious color and unique perspective!
I am also a potter/sculpter...and also craft Native American items including Spirit Horses and Turtle Shell Rattles. Of Choctaw heritage...this facet of myself is a very important part of my art.
I strongly believe that anyone who loves art should be able to own it and I try to price my work accordingly so that it's affordable to everyone.
I am a proud member of The Worldwide Women Artists .
My art, pottery, and Native American crafts are in private and corporate collections across the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Norway, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Mexico. I am represented by Four Seasons Resort Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona and The Great Southwest in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
