Once you start to really look at an orchid you start to go a little crazy with awe and wonder. They captivate and enchant me to no end. The flower petals of these pink dendrobium orchids have a texture pattern within the pink of small sections that glisten and sparkle gently when the light hits them. These are the most common orchids you see in arrangements and leis and even individually gracing a fancy dinner plate meal. Yet, they are my favorite. Their elegance and simplicity instantly sends me to a relaxing mental tropical beach with warm humid trade winds wafting. I just love them. They make me want to be a little bug so I can go curl up in their center.
