i go by pinky, or pinkyjain, my full name i use is pinky jain pan (no caps anywhere). i got pinky from the movie "Horse Feathers" with the Marx Brothers. Harpo Marx was & still is one of my favorite artists & comedians. His nickname in the movie was Pinky. jain is my real middle name, which is rather remarkable, ever since i was young i felt i was a steward of all Animal lifes, not just Animals, but Birds, Fish, Insects, Snails, All of them, & have always tried to help them out. The Jains try never to kill any Animals, or Insects, either. From Wikipedia: “Jainism is an ancient dharmic religion from India that prescribes a path of non-violence for all forms of living beings in this world”. Like on rainy day walks i will put Snails & Slugs & Worms out of harms way, like from the sidewalk to the grass, to keep them from being squashed. And when i read about the Jains years ago, how they go out of their way not to hurt Animals, Insects, etc, it was very cool. i used Peter Pan's last name, Pan (but no caps on my pan), because i will never grow up, i will always be a young at heart spirit. i mostly do colored pencil drawings, a lot of B&W pencil sketches, sometimes pen. i rarely paint, but have done a few acrylic & watercolor paintings. i am hoping to some day get some books published i have written and illustrated. i have 5 ready, but haven't found that literary agent or publisher as of yet.
i am also an Animal Rights Activist, do a lot of on line letter writing to help Animals, Etc in bad situations, like Puppy mills, the fur trade, circus Animals, the oceans, etc. Go out in public and demonstrate at various places, the circus, stores that sell fur, restaurants that serve foi gras or veal.
