Thanks for the kudos. HOw did you ever manage to get a picture of a baby squirrel. I've seen a bunch of squirrels, but never any out of their nest so young. Well, I can imagine he's praying to make it to adulthood. Thanks for the postscript--I guess he did! (make it to adulthood). This is so-so sweet. Makes a lovely card!!!

To answer your question, Carol, yes, he is a baby. This little guy had only been out of the nest for about a week when I captured this shot. The entire litter of six survived to adulthood. The mortality rate is very high with these little guys. Perhaps his little prayer was answered. :)

I got a similar pic of one of my squirrels, but mine looks more like it's sneezing than praying - lol! Plus mine is a little on the blurry side so mainly just for my amusement. I love this shot! It's perfect :)
