This is the artist's impression of an ancient Mosasaur as he might have appeared in the Cretaceous Age. Being very aggressive marine animals, this scene depicts him fighting with his own water reflection.
This will make a wonderful quality gift for anyone interested in Dinosaurs, with a particular emphasis on the Cretaceous period.
As a teacher, I took a great interest in Prehistoric animals with a particular interest in Elasmosaurs and Mosasaurs. Not only did both of these creatures exist on Vancouver Island, but a rare sub-species of each, not found anywhere else in the World plied the waters around the Comox Valley which was flooded prehstorically. Vancouver Island is a Fossil hunter's paradise, so that influence helped me to create the T-Rex, Mosasaur and Elasmosaur artwork you wil see here in my collection.
25% of proceeds from any sales made of this Mosasaur Art Print is donated to the Courtenay Museum, which is world-renowned for its unusual and unique fossil finds. Thank you for helping keep education alive!
