Oh Robbie, what a memory to share!!
My youngest (we have four) used an entire bottle of ketchup and painted/smeared it into the center cushion of our brand-new sofa! The odor never came out -- it always had a questionable acidic scent to it. We had ketchup footprints and handprints too!

Precious Memory!
Dear Clara, My own daughters did just that. When they were 1and!/2 and 3 they got into the Crisco Oil. I said to my husband they were being too quiet, so I went into the Living Room and found my youngest swimmimg in a pool of oil on our hardwood floors. The oldest, who had facilitated this swimming lesson was standing by innocently watching as her sister continued to get up on her knees only to slip back down in the oil. I called my husband to see and we both had a laugh. I can see it all yet! They are 18 and nearly 20 now and the dark spot on the floor remains along with the small dark handprint on the wall which I've never had the heart to paint over. Thanks for this card, it brought back a precious memory!
