Retro style implements for cooking and eating are featured on this cool recipe binder in classic shades of brown, teal, lime and orange. Customize the text on the cover and spine with your family name or other message. Include matching blank recipe pages to complete the cookbook!
Binder seems to be nice quality, larger than expected and pockets. No telling how it will hold up over the years but time will tell. Since it is a cookbook binder, I recommend purchasing divider tabs (cookbook-oriented pre-printed tabs can easily be found online), also recipe card clear sleeves and some full size sleeves for magazine-page recipes. I used the bride's future last name to personalize it and she loved it.
About the print:
Color and quality of printing were excellent. Just as expected based on the online picture.
Great gift for the bride to be. Filling with family recipes from both sides of our family and their family. Bright colors, sturdy binder with large rings for lots of filler. Thrilled to get started on this project with such a great starter.
Love the design, both in appearance and functionality.
I ordered the 2-inch version. The one-touch ring style is worth a couple of extra bucks. I've never been able to open and close the rings of a 2-inch binder so easily, and the pages are easy to turn (unlike with some other D-ring binders I've used).
You can tuck the top behind the back to save room on your kitchen counter.
I could see it as an extra-special gift for a bridal shower or anniversary. For example, you could call it "Jason & Jen's Favorite Recipes." But it would make a nice gift for anyone who likes to cook and would prefer at least some of their recipes as paper printouts or magazine clippings. (Oh, add a high-quality, standard three-hole punch to the gift if they don't have one.)
About the print:
The binder looks just as good and colorful as pictured. The printing, including the customization, is perfect. If you see any imperfections, that's because of my photos, not the printing.
