When the chief claimant to be Anastasia, youngest daughter of Csar Nicholas II, moved to Virginia, many people came to see her and test her. Among them were Gregori Rasputin's only legitimate daughter, Maria Rasputin. Anastasia and Maria were close in age and had been close childhood friends. After their meeting, Maria said she was convinced Anna Anderson was Anastasia. Alas, she later recanted when Anna refused to go to Los Angeles with her. The photographer created this mug for you.
