The majority of famous Atheists were philosophers, writers, and social ideologues. The most famous Scientists were Christian. Thusly, who do you think is the founder of Empirical Thought? Who believes this Earth is here for us to study and explore? There's two interesting Theories that have the hugest holes of all the science theories, Darwinism and Evolution. Actually I think both have merits, but do not tell the WHOLE story. Just keeping it real. I wonder if Liberal Public Educations will teach this? Hmmm...

Francis Click, another interesting atheist
he theorized... aliens planted earth. because that's more believeable... also that all our feelings and emotions are nothing more than dna, chemicals, and so we have no free will. those atheists are so creative in their SCIENCE IS TRUTH.

yah thanks ravendance... hmmm...
Herman Bondi, interesting... read the first paragraph on Wiki about him. Tried to discredit the Big Bang Theory... with another theory... that failed.... pretty sad.

i disagree that there have been great muslim scientists. if there were, the culture of Islam or the nations thereof, would be self evident in their progress. So, to say a few guys did some stuff, is one thing, but for them to actually matter. NOPE.

There have been great Muslim scientists too, but you won't catch me praying to Allah.

ooops, i stand corrected. yes he is. And a most interesting one, interviewed in "Expelled: No intelligence Allowed" One that I believe considers some intelligence was at work, in the creation of life. Oh but not God, just some 'intelligence'. I don't know most of the other names... you must be proud, gathering up so many many Atheists, taking over the fields of science from the Christian founders, who believe our universe started with a sudden light, that all that exists are not gods and can be measured, that children are a blessing, that monogamy is more true than wanton sex. But I digress... or do I?

Susan Blackmore, Hermann Bondi, Paul D. Boyer,
Sean M. Carroll, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, Francis Crick, Paul Dirac, Albert Ellis, Leon Festinger, Richard Feynman, Sigmund Freud, Erich Fromm, Christer Fuglesang, Vitaly Ginzburg,, Jonathan Haidt, G. H. Hardy, Peter Higgs, and many, many, MANY more.
