SHECKSHE.COM SheckShe* Heart Tee Shirt
A field of three dimensional WHITE cubes made of half inch equilateral triangles spun 180 degrees and laid down over another example of itself. There are 14 cubes in the picture, a field of 7 laid on top of another field of 7. Each cube consists of 6 triangular sides. Each has 3 "lighter" sides made up of 54 White triangles and 82 Purple triangles and 3 "darker" sides with 82 Purple triangles and 54 White triangles. I selected a Purple background when recreating this pattern in Photoshop. This I had to do because the image made up of triangles is White and the only way to save it in a Jpeg is with a White background and all that you would get is a full screen of White so I had to include a background color. Each small triangle is about one inch on a side at 144 DPI. Large triangles are made of 4 small triangles, parallelograms are made of 3 and rhombuses are made of 2. I originally drew this picture back in 1981 or 1982. I discovered the HEART shape, highlighted in BLUE, hiding in the pattern way back then and I made a photocopy of it so that I could find it again later. It only took 28 years to get back to it, not bad if you ask me. The original picture is 36 X 48 inches and has only one cube with parts of the surrounding cubes. It is pencil and black felt pen on drafting paper. And my cat did a number on it but, luckily, not before I made some reduced size photographic negatives. That was when I discovered I could lay one image on top of another and by moving the top image over the lower image I could create millions of different geometric patterns. Type the words "Snowflake Generator" into the Zazzle search engine and you can try it yourself. You could literally design a T-shirt that only you have.
