I consider myself a staunch atheist -- even someone who might wear a shirt like this -- but find linking this imagery to atheism is irrelevant, confusing and potentially disastrous.
I understand artistic expression of skull as a symbol of death, but the stylizing is symbolically egregious! Should a black skull with a sinister expression and HORNS be symbolic of any reason-founded theory of the nature of the cosmos?
This is my first time visiting thinkatheist.com and initially found the community aspirations of it exciting -- and then I saw this shirt flaunted on the homepage. It's fine if you find art like this expressive of your worldview but DO NOT tie it to atheism! We have enough perception problems as it is!
