This Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly is seen feeding on the nectar of pink flowers, against a clear blue sky. Butterflies help to pollinate flowers, as they migrate, from area to area, during the spring, summer and fall. This swallowtail has white and orange spots on black wings with a silvery white colored, comet like marking. Between the two rows of orange spots, the black wings are sprayed with light colored speckles. Black veins are also visible on the wings and the wings are partially outlined in white. Butterflies, although considered to be an insect, are indeed a beautiful sight and reflect the beauty of God's creation!
