"Stirling" Family Crest???
1. The crest are the tree ostrich plumes which have never graced a Stirling's arms. The most ancient Stirling crest was a swan issuant from a ducal crown or. 2. The arms, Argent, three buckles, or, on a bend engrailed, azure was matriculated by William Starling of England ca 1761. The arms of the chief of Clan Stirling has a sable bend and are not differenced with engrailing.
