It was horrible hearing about the family members being forced to leave their children, because they were dogs, cats or other sentients. I recall an officer forcing a leash from a child's hand. What has become of that family member? We need to teach our children that the value of life is important, and when they learn that, we will not be a nation built on an over crowed prison system.
