real estate agent in Summit County
[I had a Summit county Foreclosure on my Last Home, I owed the Bank $3,000 and at the time was going through a Divorce. I called the summit county bank and told them i Just got back on my feet and would continue to Now make my Monthly Mortgage payment of $450mo and an additional $250 month towards the $3,000 I owed them, They said they couldn't help me unless I made summit county colorado real estate payment in Full of $3,000 within 5 days, They ended up foreclosing on my Home (The Entire Mortgage was $56,000) they had the house in their Possession for 1 full year and finally sold it for $42,000. All because The Greedy Bank (First Franklin, also Breckenridge City) Didn't want to work out a payment plan with me. So if you get behind on your Bills Banks don't work with you then they the banks say their hurting with too many real estate foreclosures! here's a thought get people in the Banks that have a clue and will work with people wanting to repay their summit county co real estate loans and 2. stop outsourcing! theirs nothing worse when a Bill collector calls you and their from Summit County Colorado these Summit county people who are unhappy about their arms adjusting and not being able to afford their real estate mortgages, need to remember something-they signed closing papers that disclosed that their rate would go up and when it would go up...had they listened to their real estate loan officer, they would have gotten their credit straight over the last 2 or 3 years, then they could refinance and not worry about the subprime lenders closing down. Bottom line is in this day and age, everyone wants to blame someone else for their problems...i am sorry for the people who are losing their breckenridge Colorado homes, i see it everyday, but they should have done what they were told and gotten themselves straight during the fixed rate term of their loan, not wait till it's too late...as far as prepay penalties, most states limit or do not allow them on loans below a certain point. It is not the Colorado governments fault that these people did not do what they were supposed to...it is their own. There are respa laws in this country that require full disclosure of terms for a mortgage , as well as a 3 day right to cancel after you sign. Instead of looking around, look within.
