Our troops need us!
Supporting our troops and supporting this illogical and misguided Iraq war are two separate things. The troops need our support more than ever, and America needs to do what is in their best interest. Keeping them in this war for 100 years is ridiculous and the body count and damaged soldiers coming home is not worth the price of an empty victory. Plus, although I honor McCain for serving our country I do not understand why he votes against veterans. We have a lot of veterans coming home for Iraq that we should take care of and the one that will do that is Obama. His record on voting for veteran's issues is strong, sadly McCain's is not. Disabled American Veterans scorecard gives Obama an 80% and McCain a 20%. Obama supported the GI Bill and McCain did not.
