This painting was based on the idea of Sleeping Beauty. There is a deeper meaning in it for me also. There is an owl in the top left tree trunk, this symbolises the wisdom gained from choosing to go within the self as well as the setting being in nature which also suggests connecting with the Earth and nature to find a truth that is grounded and real.
