Tattoo Meanings - Borneo SCORPION T-shirt by TattooTribes

This tribal scorpion is still a very popular tattoo in Borneo, even if its original meaning got lost in favour of its spiritual meaning: originally Dayaki warriors tattooed themselves with the scorpion when they cut off an enemy´s head, and if heads were three at least, they could have the scorpion tattooed on their throat, main expression of great value. Luckily, heads are not in danger anymore, but the meaning of valiance and courage is still deeply connected with this design.
